Each third grade student is exposed to Spanish focusing on vocabulary building.

Information Technology

Exposing students to the Microsoft productivity tools prepares students for presentations and writing activities.

Chess

Building the critical thinking skill in a fun way. Chess forces children to strategize before executing.

THE CORE

LANGUAGE

The focus at this level is reading comprehension and expression. Our students are guided by the curriculum to build on creative ideas using poetry, composition and letter writing.

The 9 year old language curriculum provides teachers with the tools to help students strengthen their communication skills.

MATH

Critical thinking and creativity are the focus through all math lessons.  Students get the opportunity to explore math in the real world by applying concepts to their homes and environment.

INTEGRATED STUDIES

The Integrated studies curriculum focuses on science, social studies and religious education at the grade 3 level. This core subject forces application of one concept taught in one subject area to another. Students enjoy this approach because they can see relate to the topics taught.

A large part of the curriculum is the Jamaica culture. Students are taught about the island and its history.
